We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with a solid foundation in SAP BASIS to join a dynamic automation-focused team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from SAP BASIS engineering into ABAP development, combining technical depth with development expertise.

In this position, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of an internal automation tool that streamlines incident lifecycle management within SAP environments. The tool is primarily built using ABAP, with supplementary automation using Ansible and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain internal automation tools using SAP ABAP.
• Apply SAP BASIS knowledge to architect efficient system flows and automation processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and monitoring.
• Use Ansible and Python scripting to enhance automation capabilities.
• Continuously improve existing processes related to incident and alert handling.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Background in SAP BASIS administration or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Python scripting.
• Deep understanding of SAP system architecture and incident/alert lifecycle.
