SAP Procure to Deploy Consultant(Plant Maintenance) - 6 months+ - Contract/Freelance - ASAP - Remote(1 day a month on-site in Frankfurt) - Pharmaceuticals

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Plan-to-Deploy Consultant with deep expertise in the Plant Maintenance (PM) module to support a leading pharmaceutical organization. This is a hands-off, business process-focused consulting role, ideal for someone who excels in strategic advisory, process design, and stakeholder engagement rather than system configuration or technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP PM within the broader Plan-to-Deploy (P2D) landscape.
• Advise business stakeholders on best practices, process optimization, and SAP capabilities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Lead workshops and discussions to align SAP PM processes with operational and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective solutions.
• Support global rollout and harmonization initiatives across multiple sites.
• Ensure alignment with GxP and other pharmaceutical industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP consulting, with a strong focus on Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Proven track record in business process consulting – not hands-on configuration.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries, with knowledge of compliance and validation requirements.
• Fluency in German (C1 level) and professional proficiency in English is essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PM.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
• SAP certification in PM or related modules.
