We’re working with a leading international group that’s completed a major ERP SAP implementation across its global footprint. To support continued digital transformation and business growth, they’re looking to bring on an SAP ABAP Programmer with around 2-4 years' experience to join their in-house SAP Centre of Excellence in Lisbon.

You’ll play a vital role in delivering clean, scalable code across a range of projects — from SAP enhancements to interface development and solution upgrades — all within a modern SAP S/4HANA landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop enhancements to SAP functionalities based on business and project requirements

• Execute programming, testing and development of new features, processes, and interfaces using technologies such as S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, CPI, Fiori, EWM, MDG, GRC, and BFC

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specs using SAP best practices

• Develop technical documentation to support customisations and system changes

• Provide both corrective and proactive support on existing integrations (EDI, PI/PO, CPI)

• Assist with SAP system upgrades and support package implementations

• Ensure data security, proper authorisations, and information confidentiality in all technical implementations

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar

• Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming (including Object-Oriented ABAP)

• Proficient in ABAP 7.4/7.5 syntax, OOP, BAPIs, BADIs, User-Exits, CDS Views, Adobe Forms, and Smartforms

• Additional knowledge of IDOCs, Workflows, SAP PI/PO, Fiori, HCI, or EWM Framework is a strong plus

• Strong written and spoken English and Portuguese

• Independent, proactive and curious mindset with a passion for technical problem solving

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style
