Akindra Talents is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible (IT) Staffing solutions and support to global customers. At Akindra Talents (based in the heart of Transylvania - Romania), we focus on connecting talents to our customers all over Europe. We build and manage remote (operational) support and development teams and offer support to our (freelance) collaborators during their journey.

Our client is embarking on a long-term strategic migration from Oracle to SAP and is seeking SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, and SAP CAP Developers and Consultants to be part of a major SAP transformation initiative for a global, publicly listed Fast-Moving Consumer Goods leader.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP, SAP BTP, and/or SAP CAP in alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design, implement, and optimise SAP applications within a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Participate in the migration process from Oracle to SAP, ensuring smooth integration and system performance.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of SAP applications on the Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Provide technical consulting and guidance throughout the SAP transformation program, including best practices and performance tuning.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during development and deployment phases.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and documentation for all technical deliverables.

Requirements

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, and/or SAP CAP development.
• Background as a developer and/or technical consultant.
• Communicate effectively in English with global stakeholders and project teams
• Experience working in large-scale SAP environments (a strong plus).
