 Job Title: SAP PP Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to join our SAP team to drive business process improvements, implement end-to-end SAP Production Planning solutions, and support ongoing projects and enhancements. The ideal candidate should have strong domain knowledge in manufacturing processes and hands-on experience with SAP PP module configuration and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP PP solutions.

• Configure SAP PP module (including MRP, work center, routings, BOMs, production orders, etc.).

• Design and implement SAP PP solutions in line with industry best practices.

• Provide support for SAP PP end-users, including training and documentation.

• Integrate SAP PP with other modules such as MM, SD, QM, PM, and WM.

• Participate in project phases: blueprinting, design, configuration, testing (UT, IT, UAT), go-live, and hypercare.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams for developments (e.g., reports, enhancements, forms).

• Troubleshoot issues and provide resolution within defined SLAs.

• Support data migration and cutover activities related to PP master and transactional data.

• Conduct gap analysis and suggest improvements or custom solutions.

• Stay current on SAP innovations (S/4HANA, Fiori) and manufacturing trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant.

• Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.

• Strong configuration experience in SAP PP processes (discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing).

• Understanding of MRP, capacity planning, demand management, and production execution.

• Familiarity with S/4HANA is a strong plus.

• Experience with interfaces, IDocs, and integration testing.

• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, from business users to technical teams.

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SAP QM, PM, or PP-PI.

• Experience with Fiori apps for production planning.

• SAP Certification in PP or S/4HANA Manufacturing.

• Experience in Agile/SAFe methodology.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

Languages:

• Fluent in English optional in German
